Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th, 1962) is an American actor from the United States. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). Then She joined the Bratpack group and appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy's is both an American actress, and author. At the beginning of the 80s, she started her career in film with the crime thriller film Bad Boys. She was very well-received in this film. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. The actress was in The Breakfast Club in 1985, a comedy drama that followed her initial success. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the best high school movies ever made. Even though the film's budget was $1 million it has earned more than $50 million. The actress also appeared on various television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. It was a show for teenagers which began in April of 1980. Other TV shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about an X-Men superhero, in which she plays a cameo. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 due to her work. She was also awarded by the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
